Project (don’t protect) your energy

At the start of the year, there’s an emphasis on clarifying what you want.

To do that, and then go after it, you need to establish boundaries, get better at saying no, and avoid anything that gets in the way of your goals.

Maybe?

I love resolutions and think they’re super important.

Resolutions force us out of our comfort zones and serve as evidence that we can do hard things, despite what our comfort-seeking brains want us to believe.

Yet this notion of protecting our time and energy from outside forces so we have enough in the tank to achieve what we want… I question how useful this is.

What if, instead of trying so hard to protect your energy, you focused on projecting it?

The only resolution that matters

When we protect, we keep safe.

When we project, we extend outward.

One comes from a place of fear and scarcity. The other comes from a place of confidence and abundance.

Which feels like it’s happening on a higher frequency? And which feels like it’s more likely to attract the things you made resolutions for in the first place?

Resolutions aren’t really about the things we say we want. Resolutions are about who we become in the process of trying to get the things we say we want.

Become a person who…

…values their health.

…shows up for their relationships.

…takes risks to find work they love.

…follows their curiosities even when the outcome is unclear.

…celebrates other people’s success and trusts theirs is inevitable.

In the game of life, you get what you are not the things you want.

Protection, scarcity, and fear are low-vibration states that attract similar-vibe results. All the resolutions and productivity journals in the world can’t change that.

You must raise your frequency if you want to elevate your life.

If you’re in a low-vibe place right now, it’s okay. Dedicate this year to moving yourself into a high-vibration state of projection, confidence, and abundance.

It’s simple and it’s everything: Change your frequency, change your life.
